The annual ADLQ Junior Symposium is a unique platform to showcase the work carried out by graduate students and junior scientists. It also provides new members to the scientific community a forum to get feedback. This year the symposium will act as a celebration of the non-resident post-graduate programme, that began in 2011. The presenters have all successfully graduated from this programme. The symposium, now in its 7th year, targets graduate students, junior post-doctoral scientists and faculty members. In the audience will be academic heads from many of the local institutions, including Qatar University (QU), Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Weill Cornell Medical School Qatar (WCMC-Q), Qatar Biomedical Research Institute (QBRI) and Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU). Also present will be professors and senior faculty members from our international collaborating institutions: University College London, Bristol University and Groningen University.
