The sixth annual ADLQ junior symposium provides a unique opportunity for graduate students and junior scientists to present and discuss their work and get detailed feedback from a learned local and international audience. The symposium, now in its 7th year, is designed to provide a platform for junior scientists to present their research in an environment focused both on feedback as well as professional development. The programme also gives participants an opportunity to network with senior scholars and peers in their field and build professional relationships that can last for many years to come. The symposium targets graduate students, recent PhD graduates as well as junior faculty members. In the audience will be academic heads from many of the local institutions including Qatar University (QU), Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Weill Cornell Medical School Qatar (WCMC-Q), Qatar Biomedical Research Institute (QBRI) and Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU). Also present will be professors and faculty members from our international collaborating institutions: University College London, Bristol University and Groningen University.
